Responsibilities - Creative Direction + Design + Animation

For over a decade, I led the creative direction and visual development of Mint Mobile’s tutorial video library, creating clear, approachable motion content that helped customers navigate the brand’s products and services. I managed and collaborated with a small team of designers and animators, while also contributing directly across design, illustration and animation. I directed voiceover, established and evolved the visual language, and developed a flexible system that could adapt as Mint’s products and features changed. The work was highly collaborative, with Brand, Copy and Content partners shifting throughout the life of the program. 

The tutorials have also reached large audiences on YouTube and Mint’s help center — helping people activate their phones without panicking (a service to humanity). Want to see the latest Mint tutorials?

I collaborated with many talented people throughout the life of this program, but I’d be remiss not to give direct credit to the core contributors who helped shape the library over the years. These were my wonderful A-team, including the artists who helped bring the Mint Fox and its visual world to life.
